Since the introduction of the new railcars, the SBB/Brünigbahn/LSE have changed dramatically.

HGe4/4II 101961-968 have been largely displaced from the mountain route, and some type III coaches

have been resprayed in zb colours and are used on the Engelberg route (or kept in reserve).
