When the line was extended from Montbovon to Gstaad, and Zweisimmen in 1904-06, the MOB bought a total of 14 new Railcars
- this is the largest series ever for this meter gauge railway.
However, as more powerful vehicles were delivered, Railcar series BCFe4/4 7~20 were increasingly displaced to subordinate services,
and lastly for shunting duties before being withdrawn.
